# 9.1 Phase I — Core Protocol Launch

The first phase focuses on deploying the foundational elements of the Xera network: consensus infrastructure, shielded pool functionality, unified addresses, and core wallet integrations. This phase ensures the network’s cryptographic correctness, performance stability, and user accessibility. Basic developer tools, documentation, and reference implementations are released alongside the protocol.
